Bankom Ltd is a private Electronic Payments Service Provider – endorsed by the
Uganda Bankers Association and exclusively licensed by the Bank of Uganda to
handle electronic financial payments and local switching for all financial institutions.
The company is owned by two entities – Cashnet which owns 80%; and Pesacom which owns the remaining 20%. These shareholders are some of Africa’s most successful & most illustrious business people who manage & oversee various blue chip companies.
Since 2004, Bankom has grown from strength to strength & currently settles | reconciles financial transactions from either Automatic Teller Machines or Point of Sale Devices from our [switch] member banks. These transactions grow each day owing to our improving customer base, service & overall diligence following our mission to be Uganda’s Electronic Payments partner of choice. |
